Our Story
CEO, Mark Murphy spent 8 years teaching English as a Second Language in Vietnam, Italy, and Thailand at various universities, Middle Schools, and High Schools. Mark grew to love being a teacher and he volunteered in SE Asia for organizations who taught English to underprivileged children and adults. During that time, he saw how people of all ages struggle with learning the language and he wanted to help thousands at once, instead of a few classes at a time.
After returning to the US, Mark attended his first Consumer Electronics Show (CES) conference where he had his first experience with Virtual Reality and he thought that VR would be a great way to teach English to people while immersing themselves into the American culture and that is where Vizulingo was born. Mark then partnered with his current mentor Fox Bonilla, who worked at NASA Headquarters for over 10 years, and he started building a team of professionals who are all just as passionate about education.
